Helping out his grandpa keeping the undead at bay, while pretending everything is business as usual outward.

Michael Kamp I grind through.
I usually write about 1000 words per session, but if I hit a block I force myself to just nudge forward every session. A few hundred words.
Heck, even a sentence.
Just a little bit progress per session will eventually get me through. Then I can always edit and analyze what went wrong afterwards.
