Most of my eight children have enjoyed stories from my childhood. One of them asked me to write some down and give the stories to her as a gift for her birthday, and I've added stories since then. I realized that almost all of these adventures occurred during the summer months, and all between grades 6 through 12. Thus, Seven Summers was born. Inspiration came from 700 Sundays, by Billy Crystal, and A Girl Named Zippy, by the delightful Haven Kimmel.
