I would love to go back in time to the magical world of Dark Shadows. I discovered this TV series on Amazon Prime and although I was around when it was first on in the late 70s, school prevented me from watching it.
It taught me a lot about writing scenes and I loved the whole "gothic" element in the series. So I would like to travel to any of the times presented in the series, or back to the 70s to watch them shoot the show. It has a small-town acting troop feel to it. They had a group of players who played multiple parts.

I'm reading through all of the books by Fiorella De Maria, and am loving all of them. Fr. Gabriel Mysteries.
Also read two books by Eve Silver, Dark Prince and His Dark Kiss. I chose them because they are classic but contemporary Gothic Novels.
Death Comes for the Archbishop by Willa Cather - very touching book.
I'm also committed to make it through the Trilogy by James Ellroy,
American Tabloid: Underworld USA (1) (Underworld USA series). I read the first in the series. It was very great. This trilogy was recommended by Attorney Robert Barnes and he said it's a great trilogy to "learn how the world really works". So far, I can see what he means!
