E.R. Burgess The only type of writer's block I've ever had is other things taking my time and the distraction of a new idea. I am working on ensuring I have more hours in the day to focus on writing so I can produce more fiction because it is something I truly enjoy doing.

E.R. Burgess A collection of short stories I wrote for Nanowrimo last year. I shall use November to revise it. The collection is called Comfort Information and it's focused on people and technology, particularly our use of social media and electronic communications in general.
E.R. Burgess Reading and living. I'm not sure how else anyone might do it. I do think writers want to find meaning from life so there's a tendency to correct things a bit in the story. That's inspiring all on its own.
E.R. Burgess The book is not autobiographical per se, but it would be silly to say that it was not inspired by personal experience. That said, none of the characters is directly from life and the events depicted are not historical.

I do think that Jay's experience is not unique, and I hope it will be useful to some.
