D.M. Sears No. I don't do horror stories. I'm a positive, optimistic person and my writing - though not all sunshine and roses - doesn't glorify horror, evil, or bad people. I'll leave that to others.
D.M. Sears My advice is to write. Even if it's not that good, even if you know you'll delete it later, write anyway. And write about something you know about.
D.M. Sears A time-travel manhunt thriller called Bad Day in the Late Wisconsin. It's good!
D.M. Sears Creating. Anything I write has never been written before. Good or bad, it's my creation.
D.M. Sears I write anyway. I would rather put down something bad on the page that I can go back and improve/edit later than not put down anything at all. Another thing I do is try to break the block by reviewing and editing something I've previously written. That often helps to put me in the mood to create.
D.M. Sears I'm not reading, I'm writing! My next book is a western-style thriller with a time-travel twist.
