Right now, that would probably be the burning question of how the socks that emerge from my washer never seem to match any other pair that I own. I truly believe they come from an alternate universe. So there's a good chance I'll be writing some compelling sci-fi romance in the near future. All heroes will be barefoot.

Not a very interesting answer because I was inspired by a cover I spotted online. The next thing I knew, I'd created Carrick in my mind. And then the story unfolded as I wrote.
