My husband and I go for walks in a ravine near our home, and every year, a mother owl sits in a hollowed tree with her nest. I would see the father daily watching over them, and it reminded me of how God does the same for us. Eventually, little feathered balls of fluff appeared in the nest. We named one Peek-a-Hoot, and so the idea for a story began.
