First I just take a break - maybe write on another storyline that I am more sure about and then come back to where I was stuck. Next I have a few people I love to bounce ideas off of - they always say something I can get excited about. Last if it is still not working - I throw it out. Especially if it is one line or just one paragraph. So many times delete has fixed my problem!

The sequel to Unmasked. Working title is 'Consequences' and I want to show the effects of what happened in the first book. I have so many friends that are struggling with anxiety and depression, I wanted to dig into that topic a little. Plus have a couple of crazy adventures planned for Gary!

I try and visualize my story. What would be interesting? What would a reader expect to happen next, and can I surprise them? Is there any humor? If I can get excited about something - the writing comes easier.
