My own life is not very mysterious - off the top of my head, I can't think of anything that would be worth using as a plot. LOL

I don't get writer's block, because I don't force myself to write when I'm not feeling inspired. I let myself work it out in my mind, so even though I'm not writing, I'm still thinking and once I figure it out, then I sit down to write. By not forcing myself to write everyday, and stepping away if I feel stuck, I've been able to resolve it in my head and not face writer's block.

Keep writing. Publishing is a long, hard journey (unless you happen to be incredibly lucky) full of rejections. You need to develop a thick skin and just keep plugging along. I think it was sheer stubbornness not to give up that got me where I am today.

I don't write everyday. I only write when I have an idea, and then I usually let it percolate in my brain for a while. I also sew at night, which is like meditation to me, and I can work through plot points or character development during that time.
