Pam Dyck I love having a voice and having my story told! Plus it's so satisfying to have people contact me and tell me that my story made a difference in their lives! What a priviledge!
Pam Dyck Don't get bogged down with what to do 'after' you finish your story. Just start writing! The details of editing, and book set up etc. will all come eventually, but you need to write the story first!
Pam Dyck I am just finished my second book called, ' Scars of Grace'. This is an author collective. I gathered 10 friends who I knew had stories of surviving life changing events. My hope was that these everyday women, would be able to share that extraordinary things can happen, but they don't have to crush us. We can rise above. We can come out the other side of disappointments and tragedies with our hope, faith and yes, sense of humor in tact!
Pam Dyck The inspiration to write my story came from a desire to let people know that there is nothing that God can't heal!
Pam Dyck I struggled as to whether I 'should' write a book about my life, but in the end i felt if I could make my story have a positive impact on people, then I wanted it told! AND.. who better to tell it, than the one that lived it - ME!
