Tara Abydos It sounds cheesy but having readers find something in my work that resonates--be it favorable or not.

Tara Abydos Write. Don't worry about editing. Just write.

What are you currently working on?
Tara Abydos Believe it or not, I am currently working on a children's book titled, Have You Ever Seen a Rainbow? I need a publisher. Don't plan to self-publish this one but I will if I have to.

How do you get inspired to write?
Tara Abydos I read...a lot. I read every genre you can imagine. Then I reflect and breathe. And I think...a lot. Then I reflect and breathe. Then I write. And I write until my eyes get tired.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Tara Abydos It's a twofold response...I got the idea for my most recent book from my disdain for the use of the n-word and my interest in using Deleuze and Guattari's A Thousand Plateaus as a way to trouble the word beyond what it has presented ever before.
