Patience. Sometimes it helps to step away, other times I power through and keep writing. I know that most of it will end up on the cutting room floor, but keep working through and it will resolve itself.

I love writing. I love developing a story and a character so much that people have genuine feelings for them. I love that I get messages saying, I hate him! I love him! I'm crying here thanks! That's what it's all about for me.

Promote! Self promotion and joining up with other authors really helps. Of course once you publish a book your friends and family want to be supportive and that's great, but make sure you are getting your book read by strangers. They are the most honest...sometimes cuttingly so, but it's worth it to get the story perfect.

I'm currently working on the third book of the series, which is very different...it should be ready to be released soon

I can't just write every day. I have to wait until something inspires me. This could take a day or it could take a week but when it does, the story swirls around my head making me crazy and then I write it. Once I'm inspired its easy...I just have to be patient, which is NOT in my personality.

My most recent book is New Haven. It is the continuation of the characters story from book 1. I did a lot of research about different area's and combined it to make one new place. Some where safe for them.
