Steven C. Markoff I'm inspired to write because there are so many things that need fixing and so few ways for people to easily find real data and facts about those things. I'm compelled by some force to try and understand such broken things and make my finding known in a way that is clear to most any reader. (See, for example, www.amarkfoundation.org and www.sexed.net)
Steven C. Markoff My next work, that I began in 1980, and completed in 2020 is The ACLU and the United States Supreme Court, and the 1,193 cases where the ACLU was at the Supreme Court in the Union's first 100 years. The work should be publishes in a hand book, filled with stats about the Justices and the cases and a stand-alone three volume set of about 2,000 pages. (I'm looking for an agent or publisher and hope to have the work published by 2022).
Steven C. Markoff Write, rewrite and rewrite and then keep on writing...
Steven C. Markoff It seems odd, but many people look up to a writer (regardless of what the write wrote)!
Steven C. Markoff For me it's constant, but I'm not sure it's a block. It may be some higher power telling me to take a break and chill, giving creative juices a chance to rehabilitate themselves. The way I deal with it is by going to other work for a while.
Steven C. Markoff I dreamed that many people in the United States were consistently lied to by their president and those supporting and enabling the president. Then I woke up and found it true!
Steven C. Markoff If I could travel to any fictional book world, it would probably be an America where there was no racism, where the poor, sick and disadvantaged were properly appreciated and cared for, where war was a thing of the past, and people worked at jobs earning compensation that allowed them to live productive lives, at work and in their family and personal lives. An America where hate was abolished and education and peace curried wide favor.
Steven C. Markoff I'm just about done with Human Smoke, a shocking account of defined incidences, including severe Jewish discrimination and executions through the beginning of America joining WWII.

Human Smoke was so powerful that after reading the first 3rd of it I decided to put a project I have been working for 10 years, on line and for free. The project, including over 2,500 Official Anti-Jewish Acts over 2,500 years can be found at www.oaja.info.
Steven C. Markoff Interest in my book, The Case Against George W. Bush stemmed from reading Against All Enemies, a straight-forward account by Richard A. Clark of what he saw in his high level position in the George W. Bush administration. Clarke served under three presidents, was an anti-terrorist expert and left the W. Bush Administration about three months before W. attacked Iraq in 2003. He left when he realized that W. was going to attack Iraq regardless of the facts or the need to start that war in which over 4,000 Americans and over 500,000 others needlessly died.
