Margaret Gaffney So sorry I didn't see this-- I actually have a lot of trouble writing short stories. I just love to keep going. Try to avoid situations where you need a lot of exposition, i.e., they may not be the best place to introduce a new fictional world. Also, have a very clear goal in mind so you know when to end it.
