I had an incredible time last year in Rochester at the Kafka Prize events, and I got to meet Chad Post at that time, along with all the other members of the prize committee. I saw my first-ever woodchuck, too...honestly my first thought was “what’s a capybara doing running around loose in Rochester?...Open Letter is my favorite small press. Can Xue’s FRONTIER changed my life. I’m excited about the finalists this year! claire
