As a trial lawyer, I was preparing to go into negotiations on an international trade secrets theft case in 1979 when I told two friend. "You couldn't make this stuff up." Then I told myself, "But it could make the basis of a good novel." After a full career as an international lawyer, executive, and consultant, I finished turning my experience and insight into TRADING SECRETS forty years later. It's the first in the Jake Payne International Thriller Series.
