It wasn't really an idea until it occured to me that I could die in any moment without even making one of my biggest dreams come true. I have always wished to put out a work that I was really proud of, and this pandemic helped me understand my priorities as an artist. Then, it was settled. Whether the book would fail or not, I had to do it to prove that I could do it.

I had a terrible writing's block for about 3 years and it was awfully painful because I wanted to write but I just could not reach out to words. Then I realised, I was writing for an audience. For their satisfaction and feelings, not mine. I had to tell myself that my writing has to be personal, something that I should be enjoying. This change of perspective really helped me because before, I was thinking about that perfect intro or perfect depiction. Now, I write with the relief that I can always go back and work on it and as long as it pleases me, it is enough.
