I think it is therapeutic to be able to empty out the contents of my soul by retelling the story that's dying to be told. It is a tremendous alleviation when the story is finally finished.

I gather inspiration from trials and the most uncomfortable situations I can put myself in, as in taking myself way out of my comfort zone to do things I normally would not have the courage to do or the stamina to try. This gives me all types of ideas to put down on paper and develop storylines and characters.
