My ancestors.
My mother's grandfather was a complete mystery, having died when her father was a toddler. He immigrated from Ireland, perhaps in the 1870s, and left so few clues the family refers to him as "The Phantom."
The only thing we know for certain is he left Ireland because of "Victoria, Queen of England and Ireland," as he explains as his full reason for leaving country of origin on his citizenship application.
