Up until this point I haven’t experienced it. I believe my words & works flow through me and I am just a vessel for its articulation. I would turn to prayer.

I write for a Northumberland based magazine the Tyne Valley Express and I have the freedom to choose the subject maters for my features. I enjoy reacting to what is taking place on the worlds stage and give it a spiritual, philosophical humorous twist. I enjoy having a voice and platform to share it without censorship.

Share your work with people you trust as it is an extension of your heart. Your words & works are very precious and whilst they are incubating be mindful of whom you share them with as they might not be able to hold that vulnerable space. In the words of Charles Bukowski “there is no try,” if it’s in you it will out.

I have alopecia, it is something I have lived with in various ways & stages since I was 15. My next story will a children’s book about the trials and tribulations of living with such a condition. I am also in the planning stage for the next Ghost book.

The illustrator for Ghost the Christmas Stag Kathryn Holeman is always creating new visuals and characters and I have so many little stories developing around them. She is my muse and I am so grateful for our collaborations.

I was lucky to have series of real life encounters with a white wild roebuck in Northumberland in early 2019. After which I spoke to my godchildren (both under the age of 5) “We must tell Santa” they exclaimed and the story was downloaded from somewhere else as I drove home that day. There is so much synchronicity surrounding the events of the creation of this book, it truly feels as if it was gifted through me and all I need to do was pick up the pen.
