The late and great Thelma Black from Inala taught me to always pack stories full of meaning. So far all of my stories have been driven by a desire to teach a lesson or convey a meaning that you can't from conversation.

Conrad Curlew was inspired by one of my classes. I had trouble teaching them about how newspapers aren't always 100% 'the truth', and can often have an agenda of their own. The story swarmed into my mind from there. No spoilers!
