I entered the giveaway your book Please Don't Tell Cooper He is a Dog because I have a dog named Cooper who thinks he is a human!! Is your Cooper a real dog??
Michelle Lander Feinberg Thank you, Betsy! This is the perfect dog for you!!! Yes, Cooper is my wonderful mutt... who definitely thinks he is human!! As did my other dog, Charlie. I guess if they are brought up with love, as your Cooper must be, they just don't see themselves as anything other than a family member!

How do you manage to get the peace and quiet to write? I thought I had a mad house with twins, but with 5 children and half a zoo do you learn to switch off to sound?
Michelle Lander Feinberg Ha! Our youngest are twins... and that's a whole other animal!! For me, it's all about carving out time... I think it's good for the kids to see that I am doing something for myself, so that they will learn to do for themselves as well! Oh, and a good pair of noise canceling headphones....!

Michelle Lander Feinberg I am currently writing a second book about Cooper, with more adventure and laughs... Stay tuned!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Michelle Lander Feinberg Our second rescue dog, Charlie, showed very few signs that he thought he was a dog, and he was my inspiration for this book. When we bought him a dog bed it was as if he was very excitedly thinking "Oh great! We are finally getting a dog!!!"
