I'm still promoting Half Woman Half Grief but I have two book ideas. One is a children's story I wrote a few years ago. The other is a second poetry book about the Dark Feminine, which will focus around our connection to Mother Earth.

There is a point where I just realised that I couldn't please everyone, and that I could either accept my very specific writing style, or leave writing altogether. I write from a very raw, intense, vulnerable place and it was scary to know that not everyone wants to go that deep. But I trust that a lot of people do, and that they are my audience. Do not try to please everyone!

I accept it as part of the cyclical nature of life. I've never been one to intentionally sit down to write poetry; it has always come to me when it wanted to, such as in the early morning or during a forest walk. So I've learned to trust that it will come to me when it wants to, and when I want to receive it.

My inspiration often comes at completely unexpected times, and often as intuitive downloads; a felt sense that somehow translates into the page. I never sit down with the sole purpose of writing as I've come to understand that my creative process is different.
