Marketing and promotion are all very new to me too! You could try finding bookblogger sites who may review or promote it, there are book blog tours (though I don't know how they work!) There are also opportunities to promote it to your followers on social media, though you have to be careful not to do it too often and to interact in other ways as well. There are also some websites that promote books but I believe you need to offer it for free and/or have a certain number of good reviews first. Good luck!

Once I have an idea I have to write. I also give myself a daily wordcount. I have found the more specific that is, the better. At the moment it is 1000 words a day. This should mean that on a 5 day working week I could finish the first draft of my second novel by the end of Feb 2021.

Read a lot, find a good course and find books on how to write. Find a magazine on writing that you like, and never give up.
