Kieshia Chun I have no idea, I’ve never had it either. But it sounds icky, ha ha! I don’t like figs though, do you?
Kieshia Chun Take a break. Change my surroundings and do something that chills me out, like read, watch my favourite tv show or diamond painting. Taking a bath has given me lots of ideas before now. I do whatever takes the pressure out of it; sometimes I have external issues like kids, bills, etc that need to be addressed first to clear my mind.
Kieshia Chun The freedom of it. I love that I can have an idea or that anything can be put on paper and become anything I want it to be.
Kieshia Chun Don’t worry about the how’s, why’s and when’s. Just write. Ideas will come to you and the process will open up as you go, along with options. Find yourself a space and write. I often write on my phone or iPad. You don’t need an expensive laptop to put your ideas to paper.
Kieshia Chun I’m working on a few books. A couple of children’s stories and I’m in the process of a rhyming series. I’m also in the process of writing an adult novel, a romance, which I’m excited about.
Kieshia Chun Honestly, several things inspire me. Sometimes, it’s my children; sometimes it’s circumstances or how I’m feeling at the time. I have to be in the right headspace though, so I try to relax before and ideas come to me.
Kieshia Chun My son was being particular about eating his dinner at a local restaurant and telling me he didn’t like what was on his plate despite having never eaten it before. It resulted in me writing Peter the Picky Polar Bear at my table. I’m not sure why a polar bear, it just came to me.
