Small presses and independent authors have a lot of barriers to hurdle. That being said, I'm currently reading Kirby Nilesen's "American Genes," and plan to read, "A Girl Called Ari" from P.J. Sky, "all the things my mother told me" by Daniella Deutsch, and Daniel J Lutz's "Poems from From the Asylum."

I have 3 WIP's, currently. A collection of short stories, another collection of poetry, and a novel. The latter is where I've been trying to keep my focus.
