If you want to be a published author, stop calling yourself an 'aspiring writer' and start referring to yourself as a 'pre-published author'. Aspiring means you are only wishing for, hoping to accomplish. Stop hoping and wishing and make it happen.

I walk away from my computer and let the story gel for a while. If I just stop trying so hard and let the characters lead me, it helps to get past the block. Sometimes I have to call my editor and ask for a suggestion, and having a different perspective also helps a lot.
