Peter Clarke It's part of a trilogy, based on the life of my great grandfather. It started as one book and finished as three. The last book is in the edit stage and in the meantime, waiting for the editor, I've been working on another one based in old Sydney
Peter Clarke Don't give up. Many people will criticise what you write, but it's part of the deal. A thick skin helps. I have a friend who is a painter. Like me, she's shy and frets over showing her work. However, artists and writers have to expose their work to the public if they want to paint or write. Positive feedback is welcome and wonderful.

Peter Clarke Another book about Australia in the 1850s. Loosely based around Thomas and Caroline, it tells the story of of a lost locket and how it progresses through various hands.
Peter Clarke The world of Wilbur Smith. Probably just observe and soak in the ambience.
Peter Clarke Not so much my life, but that of my great grandfather. He disappeared around 1902. Family history says one of his sons spent a lot of money trying unsuccessfully to find him.
