I wrote three books on a dare from my mother. My Saddle Key Mystery series started because my mom asked me to write about the Florida Keys. The series started with a murder in a small town. It ended with a romantic story told over 15 years.

I had a dream one night about a woman going to Scotland. She falls in love with this wonderful guy, but she knew eventually she would have to go back home. I woke up and I had to start writing all of that dream in a story.
