I am currently preparing my first novel ‘Butter and Whiskey:The Ballad of Maggie Doyle’ for publication on Amazon. The story starts with a prelude, which is the story Original Sin from my collection, the Little Book of Tall Short Stories. I wrote the story many years ago, and Maggie Doyle, the heroine just stayed with me. I began to wonder how on earth she could move on from her dreadful fate, and the story wrote itself. And even when I thought it was finished, Maggie was not finished with me, so I wrote a sequel! This is what I find so exciting about writing.
