D.M. Lewry When I'm hit with writers block, I leave what I'm working on and move on to something else. I give my mind a break from trying to sort out that puzzle, and work on another chapter or scene until I'm done with that. Then I go back to what stumped me.

When I wrote The Eos Key, it was just a bunch of scenarios and situations that I wanted the characters to face. Once I had those ideas down, I strung them together.
D.M. Lewry I am currently working on writing book 2 in the Wynter Blood series. This book will focus on the story of Juliette and Lucien, all while Eric and Alia try to come to terms with what has happened between them.
D.M. Lewry I watch a lot of paranormal television and movies. Currently binge watching Lucifer, after watching all seasons of Outlander and The Last Kingdom. I wish The Originals and TVD never ended, though I've watched all seasons of each show multiple times.

I also listen to a lot of music for inspiration. I have an entire Spotify playlist caled The Eos Key if you want to hear what has inspired the relationship between Alia and Eric.
D.M. Lewry The idea behind The Eos Key came from a few different places, but mainly from a conversation with a friend of mine about how much we love different paranormal shows and books. I wanted to write a paranormal romance about personal growth, relationships, and mental health issues and quickly began to write down any ideas I had until I had quite the backstory for the main characters Alia and Eric.
