Emily Rose I usually figure that it means my brain is overtired and stop writing for a day or two. Sometimes I focus on another writing project, or I take a day to read and do something else. Usually, I come back feeling refreshed and ready to tackle it again.
Emily Rose The stories I get to tell and the joy they bring to people. I have had a great amount of feedback and I'm so happy to see people enjoying what I've written.
Emily Rose Don't give up. It took me until I turned 28 to finally hit that button, but it's been so worth it. It's rewarding and fun.
Emily Rose I have two more projects I'm currently working on. Book 2 in my Fire & Ink series, and a secret project that I hope to announce more on later.
Emily Rose I work hard and a lot of the time, writing is my escape. I can escape to a world that is so very different from my own and play around. Sometimes the story will go in a different direction than I planned, but that's part of the fun.
Emily Rose I was actually just driving in my car on my way to work and the very first scene popped into my head. It's as simple as that. I worked all day, and it just kept pounding in my head so I finally came home and started to write it and it just took off from there.
