Sleep, lol.
A lot of my inspiration comes to me when I sleep and then I try to flesh out the idea as much as possible to that I have jumping of points when I'm writing so once I have the idea, writing doesn't take as long.
When I'm stuck for ideas or plotting I tend to try and visit places, watch people or look to some of my favourite movies or TV shows for inspiration hoping that it will spark something.

Don't give up!
One of the biggest struggles I've had is doubting myself and getting too much in my head that I end up scaring myself into procrastination. Thanks to a really supportive group of people on Instagram I have been able to work through my nerves and realise that my writing may not be as good as some of the authors that I read, but that doesn't mean it's not good.
We all have our own writing style so as long as you as being true to who you are and not trying to imitate someone else, you will find your space and your audience.

I get to do something that I love while being at home and able to spend more time with my family. Plus, I can lounge around the house in sweatpants and a t-shirt if I want to, what's not to love about being comfortable.

A lot of my inspiration comes at night so I keep a note pad on my bedside table so I can jot things down. Sometimes, it will come in the form of a dream and other times I will have so many ideas floating around in my head that I find it hard to sleep.
I have a very active imagination and often find myself lost within my thoughts so I am quite lucky that I never seem to be stuck for inspiration, it's the managing it and trying to focus on one idea that I sometimes struggle with.

I'm currently finalising my debut novel Fight Like A Girl and have just finished plotting my next novel, Girlfriend Experience which is a second chance romance with Mia's sister Lexi as one of the main characters.
