For me, the best part of being a writer begins long before the first chapter.
It starts with the research, the deep dive into subjects I need to understand before I can write about them. Psychology, trauma, forensics, the medical world. I often end up using only a fraction of what I learn, yet the process changes how I see the story and the character. It helps me understand their reasons, their shadows, their quiet truths.
Writing also feels like stepping into new places and meeting new people, even if they exist only in my imagination. They become familiar in a way that is difficult to explain, as if they have lived somewhere inside me long before I found them on the page.
But the greatest part is the connection that forms on the other side. Knowing that something I wrote might reach someone at the right moment in their life. That a reader might feel seen, understood, or simply less alone.
That quiet connection is what keeps me writing.

Nature has always been my first teacher. Nothing is ever what it seems at first glance, and even silence carries its own truth. People inspire me in the same way, not for what they show but for what lives beneath their words.
I am drawn to the hidden part of the mind, the quiet place that shapes who we become. My characters may be fictional, yet they grow from those small, real moments. When you listen long enough, you start to hear what is not being said.
My stories lean into the fractures and dilemmas of real life. The choices behind closed doors. The truths we try to hide. That is where my writing begins.

I am working on two novels at the same time. One is based on a true story from the 1950s set in raw, untamed Africa. The other is a fiction project that pulls me deep into the psychology of an assassin. The contrast helps me move between them depending on the mood or the kind of focus the day allows.
I am also creating series called Feel The Words – on my YouTube channel, where everyday people share real stories. It has become another way for me to explore what shapes us as human beings.
