I would go to one of the books in the "Earth Children" series by Jean M. Auel. I would go back in history to see the way that small differences created rifts between people since the beginning of time and I would work alongside Ayla to show people that there is strength in honoring differences.

I was listening to music one day and the words "I am at a restaurant in the middle of Dallas sitting across from my fiancé and the woman who claims to have stolen him from me" randomly came to mind so I kept adding to those words and ended up writing a book.

Many things inspire me to write. I am a poet as well as a story teller. I believe that living is inspiration in itself.
