Jennifer Cody It’s hard for me to give a timeline. I recently, unexpectedly lost my husband, and right now writing is difficult. I’m still very deep in grief. I hope I can write it soon, but I’m giving myself some time before I get back into writing. It’s hard to write those Happily Ever After when yours has been decimated by tragedy. Thank you for understanding.
Jennifer Cody I’m not sure I understand the question, but Pass (Shattered Oawns Book 1) is Tio’s book.
Jennifer Cody Im planning on wrapping up both of the Hammer and Fist series this fall. I know it’s a long time between books, but I want to get all my currently open series done this year and I’m going to focus on finishing them one at a time. So, first Murder Sprees, then Lex, then Ranger/Hunter. Everything should be done by the end of the year.
Jennifer Cody Yes, I am planning to add to the Houston Hub stories. I am going to start the Sons D'Aquino series as soon as I finish the Murder Sprees and Hammer and fist series. I plan to close out those open series by the end of the fall, and then I will pursue the HH books, the Banshee House books, and the Corvin's Crows books in earnest.

As for plotting, I am a linear pantser. I write my rough drafts with no idea where things are headed and then in my revision I make it seem like I knew what I was doing the whole time. I keep a detailed book bible and every time my characters throw me for a loop, it goes in there. Also, my chaos is Character Led, as in, I let the story unfold from the character growth rather than plotting out the whole thing, so sometimes my characters surprise me too. For example, I didn't plan on Den and Monet being a thing when I wrote Monet and Qis' book, thence the running joke about planning Qis' parentage better between Den and Slean.

When plot bunnies get to me, I usually write about 5k on the bunny to see if it's something I'm going to enjoy writing, and then I let it sit until I'm ready to pursue it in its entirety. Generally, plot bunnies grab me when it's an interested character or a scene I want to write to. For example, Bishop to Knight One was written so I could write the scene where Matt lifts Deejay up on his shoulders and gives him a blowie. That was why I wrote that book, because I wanted to write that scene. Watching Him exists because I thought it would be funny if one of the MCs fell in love without ever knowing the other MCs name. Weird things grab me, and then I just run with it.

Jennifer Cody I’ve gotten a lot of questions about that and it was a project I started but sort of abandoned (unintentionally), so it was free on my website to my newsletter subscribers for a long time, but I’ve recently taken it down. I’m going to see about getting the whole serial a cover and just publishing it as a queer romance either on my website or Amazon.
Jennifer Cody I was thinking if I have time, I will have a look at it in December. I have two more episodes written ,but I don't have covers, so I've been waffling about what to do with it
Jennifer Cody I’m going to give Bellamy a whole series. He deserves my focus and a really good man.
Jennifer Cody This is not part of a series, but I have been considering exploring that world build after I finish the Murder Sprees and Mute Decrees series sometime next year. I really like the idea of exploring the explosion of mates for the crows and also maybe looking into that NM Coyote population. Could be fun.
Jennifer Cody I Don’t have a release date yet, but I think I’ll have it out either late October or early November. If not then January. I have a really full release schedule for the latter half of 2023 and finding a place to fit it might prove to be a challenge, but im up for it!
Jennifer Cody He's getting a spin off series after Romily finishes telling his story because I have big plans for Bellamy. I think he's a character worth spending some quality time with.
Jennifer Cody It's only available on my website for my newsletter subscribers. If you subscribe to my newsletter, you get an automation email with the password for the short stories tab, where you can access the download for the book.
Jennifer Cody Not yet. I think I have about seven chapters of it written, but it's not in the plan until 2024. I'm going to try to finish the other series I have going before starting the second generation series for the DGU
Jennifer Cody I made this word up, and it's explained in Capture. It essentially means "mate" but it takes a whole paragraph of exposition to explain the connotation of it in the language of the Seraphim. There is an accompanying word that I also made up that you'll get in Capture as well, that again essentially means "mate" but with a different connotation than "balmahv."

I will make sure to add a glossary for made up words in the future,
Jennifer Cody I have it scheduled for May or June 2022, but if I get it done sooner, it will be out sooner. <3
Jennifer Cody Capture will come out July 1st, and Promote will be out August 1st <3 I'm so glad you like it!

Riku and Akira were born out of my love for manga. Not even kidding. Riku was going to be the grumpy seme and Akira the nervous uke. It sort of turned out that way. they got tossed into the Diviner's Game world by default, and it all just worked out for everyone.

01/04/2021 Update:
I don't really remember why I started writing Loki's story. I knew I wanted to write a step-brother love story, and I know I wanted it to be really intense. It wasn't until I combined his world with Deejay and Matt's that things really coalesced for them. I probably just wanted to write something gritty and a bit taboo and Loki came out of it. Also, I specifically remember just wanting a character named Loki. I love that name. *giggle*

Deejay and Matt started off as a fanfic of a manga I loved. Also, they were supposed to be a non-romantic, episodic, comedy. My first draft of the first few chapters was called Cast of Characters for Family Man Comedy. You can read how well that worked out...
Jennifer Cody I read. A lot.
