Nanda Milbreta I'm not sure if it is a writer's block, but sometimes I'm not in the mood to write. In those moments I go through the list of ideas that I've collected in the course of time in the notes app on my phone. Usually that brings back my inspiration.

Nanda Milbreta In general I observe things around me and write about them as an exercise. Sometimes all I need is a tiny moment that evokes a happy, sad, nostalgic, worried, etc. feeling in me. I turn these observations and sensations into poems.
Nanda Milbreta About five years ago I went to a therapist for the first time and got an assignment to write down my childhood memories. I collected these memories in one notebook, and to make the process more fun I also added little doodles. At the end of the therapy my notebook was full with many short stories.
When I once spoke to an American friend about some experiences that I had growing up in the Soviet Union, she was so surprised, that an idea sparked to write a book about it.
