I got the idea for my recent book 'Kids Speak:13 kids from 11 countries share their life & thoughts around Coronavirus (COVID-19)' during the pandemic in 2020.
With normal life almost shut down then, I could see my kids missing out on things I enjoyed to do when I grew up. If life brought in sudden restrictions for my kids, I wondered how children elsewhere dealt with it and what do they want to say about it.
To a certain extent, I knew about things in India where I live currently. However, I was curious to know how it was for children elsewhere in the world.
So, I decided to reach out to all my friends living across the world, to let their children share about the new adaptations in their life.

If I could travel to any fictional book world, I would like to spend the summer holidays with the Famous Five and team up as a friend from India who helps them in solving cases.

I am currently working on a collection of planners for Professionals, Students and Parents. Absolutely anyone can use it. It's a great way to build a habit of writing down your intentions and working on it.
I strongly believe that the whole process of planning brings you a step closer to making things happen. Give it a try and let me know what worked for you and did not.

Be an original.
Write from experience.
Write daily and keep the habit.
Improve grammar. It make reading better and engaging.
Be confident.
Check the tone of your writing. Writing is a form of communication, where the other person does not see you, your expression or hear you. (I have to keep this in mind and not sound preachy.)

The best thing about being a writer is - getting to write anytime and anywhere.

I pray and then I read more. It works all the time.
Ideas hit when I let God in the driving seat and when I take the farthest back seat.
