My favorite character to write about is undoubtedly Ethrund, through and through.

The hardest character to write is probably Terrowin, with all his darkness. And yet, he is the easiest, because he is so unpredictable. Honestly, Eamonn, my main character in Book 1. He is so hard to figure out, even for me. I don't know why. I am hoping in future books, I will be able to flesh him out more, or even understand him. I don't know why he is so elusive to me.

I think different life experiences have definitely shaped the second book versus what shaped the first book. I was unable to write certain themes in the second book, simply because I had not experienced them until I did--such as finding true love. It was difficult for me to write it before I discovered what it meant to love someone romantically. That is why it took so long to complete, haha.

I think that is still true. However, I've definitely matured into something of a mix between Domhildr and Finna, as different as they are. So--Killian, haha.

My favorite parts to write are the sad scenes, oddly enough. I feel like they make me feel connected to my characters, and less out of touch with my own experiences.

Yes. Not intentionally, though, at least in the first book. The second one was more intentional. Ethrund (the first book) is modeled after my father. So is Aggo (in the second book). My mother is Tala (in the second book). Folkvar is fashioned after my grandfather, as is Ivor. Ronan is one of my brothers. Finn (first book) is like my sister, who is closest in age to me, and so is Thrasea (second book), with her light, healing presence. Ormyn is another of my sisters, the very quiet one. Runa is another of my sisters, the feisty one.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of any others right now, but all of my characters are a small part of the people I love or of me.

I think Killian. Everyone says I wrote myself into the book as Finna, but I see myself in Killian more than in her. She reflects my need to fix and heal, but Killian is who I aspire to be: helpful, unapologetic, and emotionally conflicted.

I think Sky would actually be the most fun. I mean, playing with the stars? Sounds wonderful to me. It's also probably the one that comes with the most responsibility though. Rarer power = more responsibility and more consequences.

My favorite thing about my book is probably my characters and their personalities. They're very much like family, all of them.

For (my first edition of) "Quest of a Thousand Questions?" I did that one with soft pastel. It took me about 3 days to finish it in full.
