Lorden Awakening Book 2! (I have the title but will reveal it later!)
I am so, so excited to finally be working on this book because it is the story that I have really wanted to tell. Book 1 lays the groundwork for Book 2.
Book 2 is where we really begin to understand the magic that the main characters have begun to explore, and we will also see a wider view of the world that Book 1 introduces us to. As magic begins to once again take root in the land, creatures, plants, and other beings of magic begin to awaken.
There will also be a lot of tension, as many people don't want magic to return at all, while others want it to return according to their own terms. Morals will be tested, relationships will be strengthened then strained, and war will break out.

I listen to a lot of instrumental music, and one of my favorite artists is "Two Steps from Hell." I was listening to some of their music one night, specifically the songs "Victory" and "El Dorado", and I started to get this inkling of an idea in my head.
I repeated those songs and allowed scenes to choreograph themselves in my head. There was a young man and a young woman who worked together to restore magic to the land. I took that idea and began writing. It took several startups and reworkings to finally figure out the story and plot of Lorden Awakening!
