N G Nelson I wish I could take credit for it. I actually went into the future and stole it from myself. …or is that Bill & Ted?

But no - the first book and the plot for the second book just happened. I sat down and wrote the whole thing out on paper in pen - and worked on it on my PC from there.
N G Nelson Advertising my novel: CHANGE - and working on the sequel. I don't have a title yet but I'm 10 chapters into the first draft - so watch this space.
N G Nelson You get to create the kind of novel you would like to read.
N G Nelson Luckily that hasn't happened too often. But if it does I just walk away sooner rather than later - and give my head the time it needs to work the problem out.
N G Nelson If I could travel to any fictional book world - it would be "Fillory". I think "The Magicians" written by Lev Grossman is excellent. And I've also just finished watching the series. If I was a High King - Fillory would definitely be the best place to party - until... Well you know something crazy is bound to happen there if you stay too long.
N G Nelson First I would join a free critiquing site: https://www.critiquecircle.com & https://www.scribophile.com are good to get feedback and tips from other authors on your work. When you're getting good feedback on the chapters you post - send your finished Novel off to a professional company for a professional critique. I jumped up and down and was very angry after I got my first professional critique - but then I sat down, absorbed what they were telling me and made the changes I needed to. I then re-submitted it for another critique and things improved from there. When you've got your novel to stage where you think it's fit to publish - get it copy and line edited by a professional. All this costs - but it's worth it if you believe in your novel. After that you can submit it to an agent/publisher - or you can download the free "Kindle Create" from Amazon and publish your book in Mobi/kdp format to Amazon. If you want to publish in another format [e.g E-Pub] - you could download a free E-book conversion program to do that - like Calibre: https://calibre-ebook.com That's all I know - hope it helps. Keep writing.
