The creative process. I have a mind that doesn't stay quiet--going 90 to nothing all the time--so having the outlet to create these worlds and characters is the greatest feeling in the world. Then, getting the feedback that other people LIKE these characters is the absolute best!

I find music that fits the vibe of my book. My books are vintage themed. The first two are in the 50s-60s. The novella in the 70s. So, I listen to music from that time period and that usually gets me in the characters heads enough to write some words. They may not be great words, but it's a start.
