Angie Hyche Just start writing!

Record everything, even if you don't think it's very good. You can edit, adapt, outline, etc. later. Don't let the fear that it's not good keep you from recording your ideas!
Angie Hyche I love getting my ideas out of my head and onto "paper" (more correctly, a digital document). I also love the research, the planning, and the fact that I can set my own schedule.

Actually the most rewarding part of being a writer is hearing from readers about how they've been inspired by my work. It's the best of all rewards!
Angie Hyche Four years of working as a professional organizer has taught me a lot about how deeply clutter affects us, our body, mind, and soul. I have given a presentation several times called "Clutter and Your Soul". Every time I gave the presentation, I knew there was so much more to learn and so much more that I wanted to share. My book Unholy Mess was written to do just that.
Angie Hyche My latest project is a play I've written entitled "Packing Up the Past." It's about a professional organizer who's helping her very reluctant mother declutter and downsize. It's a drama with a lot of comedy sprinkled in. The play will be performed for the first time at my hometown community theatre (Kingsport Theatre Guild) in October of 2026. I combined my experiences as a professional organizer, my experiences acting in community theatre, and my writing to complete this new genre of writing. I'll be directing the play (a first for me). I am beyond excited about this opportunity to see my writing come to life on stage!
Angie Hyche This is easy: I'd go to Narnia! I am a huge fan of the Narnia Chronicles. Second place is also easy: I'd go to Hogwarts! My whole family loves all things Harry Potter!
