What age group are the Nora Beady books appropriate for?
Audrey Blake That's hard to say because it's such an individual question. My daughter read The Girl in His Shadow as we were writing it, and we started it when she was just thirteen. There are realistic descriptions of 19th century surgery, which can be quite intense, so that can be a hard thing for some readers of any age!

When can we expect the release of Nora Beady Book 3???
Audrey Blake Hi Marie! Sorry for the delay—haven't been on here much—but we have been busy writing and revising. We have a tentative title now! The book will be called All In Her Hands (probably!) and latest rumblings suggest it will come out spring 2026!

Please tell the editor that while we all like WWII stories, there are so many of them that we are desperate for other great historical periods and series. You have created one with Nora, that is special and different. It is a wonderful period of women gaining power, so a terrific story arc for the series. Will Nora have a book 3?
Audrey Blake We really hope so! Depends on our editor. For now we are working on a standalone historical novel—this time we are writing about SOE agents and WWII. It's both fun and challenging to be trying something new!

Audrey Blake We hope so! We have an outline, but we need to run it past our editor. We are currently working on a stand alone novel set in WWII
