I put pen to paper 5 years ago! The main idea stemmed from controversial issues in medicine at the time. I contemplated the potential ethical and long term consequences. of these issues. My sons were in high school at the time and concerned about the future of the environment, so those concerns went into the mix. In addition, I was wanting to write from a strong female voice. With all of these threads, my story took off on an exciting adventure!
