The best thing about being a writer is that you get to spend a lot of time with the voices in your head and heart. This profession gives those thoughts a medium of expression that is lucid, and can reach a bigger audience, without you really having to talk. :)

The concept of writer's block is as much man-made as the concrete houses we live in. The idea is to sit to write only after you have primed yourself up about the topic you are going to elaborate on. Writer's block, if exists, is only a way to tell us that we need more information than we have; so keep looking for idea igniters till you feel you are ready to write.

I think this will resonate with most readers - number one on the list would be the fictitious magical world of Harry Potter, and number two would be meeting Howard Roark, the lead character of Ayn Rand's Fountainhead. He has had a definite lasting impression on me for the values he holds.

I have been intrigued by the idea of human confidence since a long time; of how some very talented people are low in confidence, while others who may not perform very well are still confident most times. I wanted to understand - can we self-generate confidence; and if yes, how. The result of this brainstorming and research was - Bedazzle. :)
