Keep a notebook handy for writing down any ideas that cross your mind. Write often and if you can't write, read something for inspiration. You can always edit bad work but you cannot edit a blank page.

I can't really pinpoint the moment the idea for More Than Human hit me, but I have personally fantasized about being a shapeshifter of sorts since I was very young. I ended up writing what I wished was real.

Reading other writings, my dreams, and how my brain generally functions is what leads to my writing. For example, it is nearly impossible for me to watch a movie or a show without describing it as if it were written in my head. It can be frustrating sometimes LOL

Right now my current work in progress is the sequel to More Than Human, titled More Than Wolf ;) This book is going to be a little more involved as it delves into the lives of multiple characters, allowing you to get to know them a little better.
