Actively trying to get people to read my first book! Outside of that, I write short stories to stay sharp. I hope to begin writing Echoes of Illyria: Book Two in the fall of 2021.

Sometimes you have to force the act of writing something.... then the inspiration starts to flow. I wouldn't say I have a muse or anything like that. If I feel stuck, I stop writing for a bit and read, watch shows and movies, or play video games to wait for something to spring up. Inspiration might be something like a garden, every now and again you need to fertilize, especially after a productive harvest.

Most of the worldbuilding took place in my hour long commute to and from work. Inspiration, well, that came from all around I suppose. The idea of a world lacking metal was a thought on what our world might have looked like (I am a bit of a history buff) had we not had a bronze or iron age.

Outside of my own, I have to say Middle-earth. There are few literary worlds that are so meticulously crafted. In fact, I am pretty sure visiting the set for the Shire in New Zealand is on my top 5 travel destinations.
