I literally have hundreds of books in my kindle app that I need to read. So I have no idea what I will read, it is sort of in the moment. I can tell you they are all of the romance genre, but I have no idea what I will read until I read it.

I have always been a creative person and I love to read. If I am not being creative in some way, I find myself going a bit crazy. During the pandemic, I found myself out of a job (a job I loved) and becoming a bit depressed. I was reading all the time, had my nose in a book at all hours of the day and night. That was my escape from what was going on around me. My husband suggested I try writing a book of my own. At first I thought he was crazy, but after a while I decided, yea! Let's write a book!

I am currently writing a friends to lovers romance book. I also am jotting down other stories I have circling around in my head.

I walk away. I take a step back. I find that if I clear my head and focus on something else, it helps me find my words. So there are days I may not write, or if I know I am having trouble writing out a scene, I just stop and do something else with my time until I am ready to write again.
