My Macallister Bon Mclean books were inspired by an actual event. Around 22 years ago I went exploring on a farm behind my apartment complex. I discovered a barn. There was a ladder leaning against the barn. I climbed to the top and found a rocking chair. Under the rocking chair was a letter. I took the letter with me. I climbed back down the ladder. I was planning to do more exploring. This man appeared from I don't know where, and he asked me, " does Mac know you are here? I was frightened by this and went home.
